Is LPG or "autogas" safe to use as automobile fuel?

Yes. All our stations adhere to EU and International standards. Furthermore, handling and application of LPG whether as heating fuel for home and industry or as an automotive fuel is properly governed by existing government safety rules and regulations. LPG conversion equipment for automotive use has adequate safety devices to ensure safer operation. The conversion is done by competent and duly trained Manila Autogas personnel.

Is LPG now used as automotive fuel in the Philippines?

Yes! LPG fueled vehicles such as forklifts, delivery trucks and taxis are now commonly used. Though automotive LPG application is relatively new in the Philippines, its worldwide usage in various parts of the world (estimated 8 million vehicles) was actually started about 40 years ago.

How can a vehicle use "autogas"?

The installation of an LPG kit will allow the use of either LPG or gasoline as fuel for the engine. With a flick of a switch, the driver may to choose which fuel to use.

What kind of engine can be converted to run on LPG?

Any internal combustion engine running on gasoline can be fitted with the appropriate LPG kit to run efficiently on LPG.

Does conversion mean a change in my engine configuration?

No, the installation of an LPG Kit into your car allows you the convenience of 2 fuels: either gasoline or LPG as you desire.

What are the basic requirements before conversion?

Engine must be in good running condition and preferably manufacture after 1990. Be sure that cars cooling system is functioning well.

After a pre-inspection, the process will not take more than two (2) days.

I want to get my car converted. Where do I start?

Start by downloading our Conversion Form. Open it up on Microsoft Word, fill up the form and email it to us an attachment. OR, print it out, fill it up in ink and present it to us at our conversion station.
